As Christians, it is often easier for us to receive the forgiveness of God and to enjoy the benefits that come by it, than to extend that forgiveness to others within the body of Christ. Very often, we say that we will bury the hatchet, but we leave the handle exposed so we can take it out on another occasion and use it.
I love the words of one man who said, "Every man should have a fair-sized cemetery to bury the faults of others." Those are good words! Ephesians 4:2 says, “Be patient, bearing with one another in love.” May we find ourselves doing that throughout the day! |
